Punks in bumper cars, one puck and a sheet of ice. Point your thumb, ram the puck, bounce your rival into the boards and bang it home. One minute a match. Tied? Golden goal.

01 How it plays

  1. One thumb

    Drag where you want to go and the bumper car turns and charges. Let go and it rolls on across the ice.

  2. Rubber on rubber

    Every car wears a fat rubber ring. Hit the puck and it flies, hit a rival and you both bounce. The boards bounce too — bank shots count.

  3. One minute, golden goal

    A match is shorter than an ad break. Most goals wins; a draw goes to sudden death. Then straight into the rematch.

  4. The punks are back

    Spike, Roxy, Neon and Gramps from Slope Punks and Groove Punks, now in bumper cars that lean into corners and wobble after every hit.

  5. Online later

    For now it's you against a punk, or two friends on one phone. Online matches are on the way.

  6. Fair play

    No pay-to-win, no upgrades that hit harder. Whoever drives better scores more.

03 Two thumbs, one phone

Turn the phone sideways and share it. Your thumb drives on the left half, theirs on the right. Pick offline, pick one, two or three minutes, face-off.
